"How long will we continue to wait at the end of the rainbow before realizing that we, in fact, are the pot of gold?"

The newest author to hit the literary scene was born August 12, 1971 and a native of Columbus, Ohio. She is the virginity of writing. Her style is untouchable. Joy’s first published title, Please Tell Me If The Grass Is Greener, is absolutely peerless of its kind. Her style of writing is being referred to as "Poefiction". It takes you beyond poetry, pros and the standard short story. It tells a story in such a flow that prohibits the reader from finding a stopping point. So when advised that you won’t be able to put Joy’s book down once you begin reading it, take heed. It is undisputedly catchy.
About ten years ago is when Joy first realized her gift of writing (that she was, in fact, the pot of gold). She began digging up and compiling all of her writings, which included everything from elementary journal entries to rainy day writings. She eventually pieced together a children’s story which she convinced her employer, Century Surety Company, to allow her to produce copies using company equipment and supplies. Without hesitation her company abided and several copies of the children’s story, Annabella and the Castle Belonging to the Troll, was distributed to all fifth graders at Linden Elementary School (Joy’s former elementary school). She did not stop there. Within her treasure she found a poem she had written to help her son learn the months of the year. Again, her employer allowed her to produce hundreds of copies of the poem. This poem was distributed to every CMACO Head Start student in her community and used in each classroom as well.
"From countless episodes of the Oprah Winfrey show I learned that one’s passion is something they would do 24/7 for free. The trick to affording to live out one’s passion is finding a way to earn money for doing something you would, otherwise, do for free", says Joy. "I knew I couldn’t rely upon my employer forever to allow me to utilize office equipment and supplies to get my work to my people." That is when Joy formed END OF THE RAINBOW projects, Inc. The sole purpose of END OF THE RAINBOW is to introduce in all those encountered the quality of sharing of which Joy’s grandmother instilled in her. "But first," Joy states, "we must all ask ourselves how long will we continue to wait at the end of the rainbow before realizing that we, in fact, are the pot of gold?" This query, now the aphorism for END OF THE RAINBOW, incites those with a passion in life to envision and manifest it, and for those unaware of their passion to unearth it.
